April 18th and 20th

Noriko showed a married couple from Israel around Kyoto and Nara.

On April 18th we visited Kiyomizu Temple and walked through Ishibe Ally. We had lunch on the way to Silver Pavilon and we strolled along Philosopher's Path. After visiting Silver Pavilion, the husband told me that he liked it very much. Next we went to Golden Pavilion.

On April 20th we went to Nara. We met at the departure and arrival depot for a shuttle bus at Kyoto station and went to Nara by Kintetsu train line. At first we visited Kasuga-taisha Shrine. Then we played with deer near Wakakusa-yama Hill and went to Nigatsu-do Hall. We enjoyed spectacular view. And we went to Todaiji Temple. They were very surprised at the size of the big statue of Buddha. We have lunch near Todaiji Tmeple and went to Kofukuji Temple. After that we got on JR train and got off at Fushimi-inari. Then we went back to Kyoto station.
